Custom stainless steel panels, railings and benches supports at Middlebury College Proctor Hall

Custom frame and spiral stairs made for the old Audet farm silo in Cornwall. The new owner has turned the silo in to a guest house. (_a beautiful guest house_) We first made a frame for the building that is housing the spiral stairs. The frame was set and secured to the outside of the silo with our 33 ton crane. We then set to work on building the custom 40' tall spiral stairs. We fabricated two cradles with small wheels and locks for the 10" center pipe of the stairs, this way we could fabricate the stairs horizontally and spin the center pipe as needed to fabricate stair treads and railings on the stairs . After the stairs were completed we loaded the fully fabricated stairs still in it's cradle onto one of our tractor trailers to be transported it's new home in Cornwall. Upon arrival our 70 ton crane was ready and waiting to set the stairs down into the frame that was starting to be enclosed and framed in for windows by the contractor. After the stairs were secured we fabricated three platforms that attached the stairs to each level of the silo we then used our 33 ton crane to set the roof on the building enclosing the spiral stair case. After the inside levels of the guest house were completed we fabricated our last phase of this project a custom balcony that was set into place with our 24 ton terex boom truck.
